Collin County's explosive growth just keeps going — plans for another multibillion-dollar community were just unveiled in one of the fastest-growing cities in the nation.

The 1,035-acre project in Anna, called Liberty Hills, could eventually feature 1,800 homes, luxury apartments and a variety of commercial spaces that could feature retailers and restaurants, according to a Feb. 13 announcement. It will be located off U.S. Route 75, north of Rosamond Parkway/County Road 370, with the homes slated to rise west of U.S. 75 around Hurricane Creek County Club.

ANNA, Texas — (Realty News Report)  – A new master planned community that eventually will have 1,800 new homes will be under construction in the coming months, reports the City of Anna Economic Development Corp.

Called Liberty Hills, the new development is located in the City of Anna, in northern Collin County, north of Dallas. Anna is one of the fastest growing towns in America.

Liberty Hills, set on 1,035 acres along U.S. Highway 75 will offer a wide range of home sizes and floorplans, amenities that capitalize on the area’s natural beauty, and future retail offerings. Construction is expected to begin fall 2025, and homebuyers will begin moving in by 2027.

Home construction is set to begin later this year on a more than 1,000-acre master-planned community in northern Collin County.

Builders will start on phase one of Liberty Hills in fall 2025, and the first residents are expected to move in by 2027. At full buildout, the development will include 1,800 homes. The development is along U.S. 75 at the northern end of Anna.

Liberty Hills' first phase will feature 269 homes on 74 acres along the development’s east side.
